DAY OF HOPE: February 12th
Invite your friends, neighbors and families to this special Sunday Worship. Please pray for three people you care about, to come. There are prayer cards for you to write their names on; then keep the card close to you and pray often for these loved ones.
Also, there are invitation cards to hand to each of your invitees. They are in the foyer. Please take as many as you like.

Baby Bottle Donations
Please take a baby bottle from the foyer table. Fill it with your loose change, or with a check made out to "Open Arms Pregnancy Center." Then, by Sunday, February 19th, bring the bottle back to Hope. Your donation is needed to assist young and expectant mothers. Thank you for your help. Our Growth Group Leaders and Hosts are now able to access a massive library of online materials and training, to assist them as they lead their Growth Groups. Watch for upcoming special videos an training in your Growth Group.

Hope Happenings
The congregation voted at its business meeting on January 8 with an 87% approval rate for Pastor Travis, to become the Church's Associate Pastor of Worship and Evangelism. Pastor Travis will take on this role in the summer of 2012. He will continue with his current responsibilities until this summer.

AWANA: Children's Fun Bible Learning Program
Children ages 3–6th Grade are invited to join! AWANA, "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed," is a fun program to teach Bible verses and concepts. Modified Stretching Class

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Jen Riley runs a caring ministry which knits or crochets shawls for men and women who are experiencing life challenges. Sometimes illness, loss, or circumstances in our lives can be discouraging. As the members of Jen's team create the shawls, they pray for the person who will soon receive it. Then, the shawl is gifted with a card and prayers.

Children's Church Papers and Crayons
Children's worship bulletins and crayons are available in the foyer for kids ages 7-9. To ensure that many children will be able to use these crayons, we ask that you please return them to the basket after the service.

Nursery Safety
Age appropriate snacks will be provided in the nursery for your child. We request that your child does not bring snacks into the nursery because of peanut allergies, and other specific needs of some children. To prevent sickness from spreading in the nursery, please keep your child with you during the service if they are showing cold or flu symptoms. Thank you for helping us keep the children healthy.
